Operations - Staff (1-year contract)
The position as Operations Staff in Hong Kong involves responsibility for trading structured notes and derivatives, as well as processing trades and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree, 1-2 years of experience in the financial industry, and good communication skills.
Job description
The position involves the following tasks:- Responsibility for the processing of structured bonds and derivatives trading.
- Performing daily reconciliation of traders' trade sheets against system records and broker trade confirmations.
- Processing of trade settlements and market data management.
- Collaboration with headquarters for the creation of SecMaster and maintenance of market price updates.
- Communication with dealers, brokers, and custodians to resolve settlement issues or discrepancies.
- Maintaining proper transaction records.
- Contact the sales team with any questions regarding derivatives trading.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to processing.
- Handling of ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- Academic degree (bachelor's or higher)
- 1–2 years of professional experience in the banking or finance industry, preferably in securities settlement. Recent graduates are welcome.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Mandarin (written and spoken)
Preferred skills
The following skills are advantageous:- Knowledge of SWIFT / Clearstream / CCASS
