Payments Corporate Sales Analyst

The Payments Sales Analyst supports the sales team in acquiring new customers and maintaining existing customer relationships in the areas of payment transactions and corporate banking. The role includes coordinating sales activities, creating customer materials, and assisting with deal processing.

Tasks

The Payments Sales Analyst will be part of the Swiss Coverage team and will work closely with JPMorgan Payments Corporate Banking teams, clients, and internal partners to develop and maintain global client relationships. Responsibilities include:
  • Support sales executives in achieving new business goals, including annual sales plans and developing approaches and customer plans with existing and potential customers.
  • Coordination of pipeline management and reporting, preparation and maintenance of customer materials (proposals, presentations, pitch books), and support in end-to-end deal execution.
  • Develop customer materials and market updates to support new business offerings while staying informed about payment innovations and the changing regulatory environment.

Requirements

The required qualifications, skills, and knowledge include:
  • Experience in payments, transaction banking, corporate banking, or a sales support/analysis role.
  • Basic understanding of payments/treasury payments.
  • Ability to create and interpret financial analyses in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charts) and translate findings into clear recommendations and management reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare proposals and presentations and communicate professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred qualifications

The preferred qualifications, skills, and knowledge include:
  • Relevant experience in payments/treasury services/cash management.
  • Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with CRM/reporting systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Fluent in English, German, and French.
  • Proven ability to build and develop relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Understanding of compliance and KYC processes.
