Payments Corporate Sales Manager – Corporate Large Cap Clients – Vice President or Executive Director
The position of Payments Corporate Sales Manager at J.P. Morgan in Zurich offers the opportunity to play an important role in the development and growth of treasury services for large Swiss companies as a Vice President or Executive Director. The incumbent will be responsible for the sales of payment services and the development of relationships with existing and potential clients.
Job description
As Payments Corporate Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and expanding our treasury services, merchant services, corporate cards, and trade transactions with existing and potential large Swiss companies on a global level. You will offer innovative and transformative solutions to our clients to help them better manage their treasury operations and working capital needs.Tasks
- Distribution of the entire payments product portfolio, including treasury services, core cash clearing, liquidity management, foreign exchange solutions, merchant services, corporate cards, and trading transactions
- Collaborate with domestic coverage teams to promote J.P. Morgan's global efforts to expand existing business with current clients and proactively identify and target clients to generate new payments revenue.
- Understanding of the unique challenges and requirements in the industries/customer segments and collaboration with internal stakeholders in the development, implementation, and delivery of complex products
- Building trusted, long-term payments business relationships by taking a holistic and forward-looking view of our relationships and identifying opportunities to help customers achieve their most important business/treasury goals
- Engaging with clients at a strategic level to provide integrated treasury solutions within a consultative and solution-oriented framework
- Creating strategic dialogues on customer-centric topics, including best practices, benchmarking, opportunity quantification, and solution positioning
- Leadership and coordination of global and regional requests for proposals (RFPs) with domestic coverage teams and all other relevant internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Senior-level sales experience in the business with in-depth knowledge of such products
- Proven experience in cash management/treasury services/payments sales or related areas with a proven ability to build and develop customer relationships, win new business, and close deals.
- Solid knowledge of cash and liquidity management products and understanding of relevant compliance and Know Your Client (KYC) processes
- Effective sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to influence senior decision-makers, internal stakeholders, and peers
- Excellent partnership and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Results-oriented and able to work under pressure within tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into concise conclusions
- Good verbal and written German skills are essential for this role.
