Job Description
As a Payments Sales Manager (PSM) at the Vice President or Executive Director level within the Swiss Large-Cap J.P. Morgan Payments team, you will be primarily responsible for developing and expanding our treasury services, merchant services, corporate cards, and trading activities with existing and potential Swiss clients on a global scale.Tasks
- Drive sales of the entire payments product portfolio, including treasury services, core cash clearing, liquidity management, foreign exchange solutions, merchant services, corporate cards, and trading activities. - Work closely with domestic coverage teams to support J.P. Morgan’s global efforts to expand existing business with current clients and proactively identify and target prospective clients to generate new payments revenue. - Understand the unique challenges and requirements of the industry/client segment and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, implement, and deliver complex products. - Build trusted, long-term payments business relationships by taking a comprehensive and forward-looking view of our relationships and finding ways to help clients achieve their key business/treasury objectives. - Engage with clients at a strategic level to deliver integrated treasury solutions within a consultative and solution-oriented framework. - Facilitate strategic dialogues on key client-focused topics, including best practices, benchmarking, opportunity qualification, and solution positioning. - Lead and coordinate global and regional requests for proposals (RFPs) with domestic coverage teams and all other relevant internal stakeholders.Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in selling cash management, treasury services, or payments—or related fields—with a proven ability to build and expand client relationships, as well as to win and close new business. - Solid knowledge of cash and liquidity management products and an understanding of relevant compliance and Know Your Client (KYC) processes. - Effective sales and negotiation skills. - Ability to influence senior decision-makers, internal stakeholders, and colleagues. - Excellent partnership and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. - Results-oriented and able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines. - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into concise conclusions. - Good verbal and written German skills are essential for this role.Preferential qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in business, finance, or economics); a master’s degree is preferred, or extensive experience in a similar role. - Experience in various roles, including underwriting, sales, customer service, and operations, is preferred. - Proficiency in French and Italian is a plus. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.We offer
