Job Description

The EMEA Subsidiary Payments Sales (SPS) team is responsible for supporting regional treasury centers and subsidiaries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (MEA), and works closely with Global Corporate Bank and various other banking product verticals to deliver innovative payment solutions to J.P. Morgan’s clients. This includes marketing the firm’s domestic capabilities as well as growing cross-border revenue. As an EMEA Subsidiary Payments Sales Associate (SPS) within the EMEA Subsidiary Payments (Sales) team, you will work closely with the Switzerland Subsidiary Payments Sales Team to support a portfolio of multinational clients with complex regional and cross-border treasury needs. You will gain insight into client relationship management, internal stakeholder management, commercial pipeline discipline, and the execution of client priorities, while also being connected to the broader EMEA SPS team. The role offers extensive on-the-job training, regular coaching, and engagement with regional teams, including potential travel for training, team engagement, and internal or client meetings. Tasks

  • Work closely with the Switzerland Subsidiary Payments Sales Team to support day-to-day client management, portfolio execution, internal follow-ups, meeting preparation, and post-meeting follow-ups.
  • Use the Swiss SPS portfolio to manage a structured tracker of customer priorities, open items, internal follow-ups, owners, timelines, and next steps, so you can serve as a reliable point of contact for internal and external partners.
  • Attend client meetings and routine follow-up calls to build trust with clients and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create high-quality reports on calls, meeting notes, and post-meeting action items with clear tasks, owners, and deadlines.
  • Proactively coordinate with internal partners on payment services, products, implementation, risk, operations, credit, and KYC to address customer inquiries, resolve roadblocks, and navigate a complex matrix organization with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Coordinate onboarding, KYC processes, and implementation activities to ensure seamless customer service, timely execution of new business, effective pipeline management, and revenue discipline.
  • Support responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs) by collaborating with internal teams to conduct ad hoc analyses, including cost-benefit analyses, pricing models, and profitability models.
  • Review and analyze portfolio data to identify key trends, value fluctuations, or risk issues, and provide clear summaries with actionable recommendations to the team and/or clients.
