* Management of internal Swiss payroll processing: timely, accurate, and independent end-to-end payroll processing (Abacus) * Quarterly payroll processing for vacation entitlements and other special calculations/payments * Coordination of payroll activities across multiple international locations with external payroll providers, provision of relevant documents, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with group standards * Active promotion of process improvements and automation initiatives, identification of opportunities to reduce manual effort, increasing efficiency, and improving payroll accuracy * Collaboration with external stakeholders such as insurance providers, pension funds, government agencies, and auditors * Processing, recording, and managing family allowances as part of delegated case management * Close collaboration with HR business partners, Reward/HRTS, and finance teams to ensure seamless end-to-end processes * Supporting monthly and annual activities, including reconciliations, entitlements, reporting, and statutory filings across various jurisdictions * Advising on complex payroll issues, audits, global mobility, and employee inquiries to ensure professional and timely solutions * Assisting with inquiries, renewals, and the administration of benefits * Supporting audits and internal controls to ensure documentation is complete, processes are audit-ready, and compliance requirements are met globallyRequirements
* Relevant professional certification or continuing education (e.g., payroll specialist, HR specialist certification, and/or social security specialist certification) * Strong knowledge of international requirements as they relate to Switzerland (e.g., cross-border transfers involving stock and bonus payments) * Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing in Switzerland and across multiple jurisdictions * Demonstrated success in improving processes, controls, and delivery models * Solid experience coordinating international payroll across multiple jurisdictions, collaborating with external payroll providers in a complex, multi-entity environment * Strong knowledge of international payroll compliance, including cross-border issues such as shadow payroll, tax equalization, and multi-country reporting requirements * Comfortable in complex, fast-paced, and evolving environments * Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented and independent work style * Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple business units * Experience working across multiple countries or entities is highly advantageous * Fluent in German and EnglishWhy you will work here
