Job description

Tasks

• Performing ex-ante controls of private banking activities and supporting the improvement of the control framework
• Monitoring and approval of KYC life cycle events (review, comment and approval of customer information profiles for account openings, regular reviews, updates)
• Approval of transfers (money, cash, securities) and overrides, including sanctions-related transactions
• Monitoring of compliance and AML follow-ups
• Interface between first and second line of defense
• Various ad hoc projects in which Private Banking Management is involved

Requirements

• Reliable and solution-oriented, strong team player
• Ability to work independently and set your own agenda
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in regulatory compliance business environment (3-5 years)
• Knowledge of AML, regulations and sanctions
• Fluent in English and competent in either Portuguese or Spanish
• Excel skills
