The position as People Partner in New York involves developing and implementing a human resources strategy for the US business, including talent acquisition, performance and talent management, and employee relations. The People Partner works closely with senior management and advises executives on human resources matters.

Tasks
- Work strategically with senior stakeholders and advise them on people strategy and practices to achieve business results through informed, people-centered solutions.
- Build relationships across the company and ensure that both senior teams and junior hires have a positive working environment.
- Facilitate talent and performance management initiatives by assisting in the leadership and support of management development and performance management
- Design and implement organizational design changes that build and maintain diversity, future capabilities, and capacity
- Cultivate an effective talent management framework and proactively manage people risks with empathy, proactivity, and consistency.
- Collaborate with the People team on HR operational priorities, including compensation planning, benefits, welfare, relocation, and non-monetary benefits
- Identify and solve problems by interpreting data and creating compelling and credible stories/recommendations for the company.
- Promoting the importance of well-being/engagement and providing support for managers and employees
Requirements
Technical skills
- 10+ years of experience in an HR business partner/people partner role with proven progression of responsibility and impact
- Proven track record of working with senior executives and influencing business decisions at the C-suite level
- Experience in managing complex employee relations, including investigations, performance management, and organizational change
- Experience in the financial services industry, ideally in alternative investments or investment management, is an advantage.
- Deep understanding of US labor law, including federal and state regulations
- Strong knowledge of compensation structures, stock plans, and incentive programs commonly used in the financial services industry
- Proven expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and change management
- Fluency in HRMS systems and data analysis tools; ability to leverage data for insights and decision-making
