The position as People Partner in New York offers the opportunity to provide strategic and tactical advice on all aspects of the employee life cycle as an HR expert and to work closely with executives. Job description: People Partner
Tasks
- Work professionally with senior stakeholders and support them in people strategy and processes to achieve strategic goals
- Participate in the implementation of strategic business decisions and ensure clear communication and strong project management
- Promote collaboration between different departments and ensure that the senior team has an overview of the environment.
- Develop and implement talent and performance solutions, including employee engagement initiatives and management development programs
- Design and implement the people strategy, including diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Understand business needs and the legal and regulatory framework in which the company operates, and proactively manage people risks.
- Identify and validate new products by interpreting data and creating compelling narratives
- Promoting the importance of well-being and providing support for managers and employees
Requirements
Technical skills
- 10+ years of experience in an HR business partner/people partner role with proven responsibility and scope
- Experience in a large company
- Proven success in collaborating with senior executives and influencing business decisions at the executive level
- Experience managing complex employee relationships, including investigations, performance management, and organizational change
- Experience in the alternative investment or investment management industry (preferably)
- Deep understanding of US labor law, including federal and state regulations
- Strong knowledge of compensation structures, stock plans, and incentive programs typical in financial services
- Proven expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and change management
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and HR analytics tools, ability to use data for insights and decision-making
