Periodic Review Compliance Officer

Job description

The CRO department develops and monitors the global framework for identifying, controlling, reporting and managing risks within the risk tolerance for Julius Baer's various business areas, with the aim of achieving sustainable growth for the company.

Tasks

As Periodic Review Compliance Officer, you will support the CRO and senior management of the BJBS office in Singapore in complying with external and internal regulations in the areas mentioned and activate the management of operational, regulatory, and reputation-related risks. Your tasks will include:

• Supporting the CRO and senior management in regulatory compliance
• Management of operational, regulatory, and reputational risks
• Supporting the Head of AML/incremental KYC Singapore and the Head of Periodic Review in reviewing existing customer relationships
• Collaborating with local and foreign relationship managers in reviewing customer profiles
• Reviewing customer profiles for compliance with internal requirements and regulatory provisions
• Conducting customer risk analyses and due diligence analyses

• Strong sense of responsibility and incorruptible integrity
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of English, knowledge of other Asian languages is an advantage
