Periodic Review Compliance Officer

Job description

The position of Periodic Review Compliance Officer is based in Singapore. The duties include supporting the CRO and senior management of JBBS Branch in complying with external and internal regulations and actively managing operational, regulatory, and reputational risks.

Tasks

The main tasks include:

• Supporting the CRO and senior management of JBBS Branch in complying with external and internal regulations
• Active management of operational, regulatory, and reputational risks
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as the front office, Client Documentation Services (CDS), KYC/AML Onboarding, AML Investigations, and Risk Management teams
• Supporting the Head of AML/KYC Singapore and the Head of Periodic Review in managing compliance reviews of existing client relationships, portfolios, and accounts
• Verification of customer profiles for compliance with internal requirements and regulatory requirements for AML/CFT/CDD standards
• Conducting customer risk assessments and due diligence analyses with a focus on high/highest risk profiles
• Review and evaluation of name checks to support periodic review
• Conducting transaction reviews for all transactions that occurred during the relevant periodic review period

Requirements

The requirements for applicants include:

• Strong knowledge of rules and regulations
• Experience in managing AML/CFT-related regulatory inspections, external and internal audits, and strategic projects
• PC skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong personality with good organizational skills
• Team player with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to set priorities correctly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong sense of responsibility and incorruptible integrity
• Strong analytical skills; detail-oriented
• Excellent knowledge of English; knowledge of other Asian languages is an advantage
