Your role

As a Physical Security Officer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of physical security and protection measures at the local bank office. You will ensure the protection of people, property and assets, support Group-wide security standards and report and work closely with the Group Physical Security function.

Your tasks

  • Define and implement physical security measures for people, property and the safe
  • Ensuring compliance with Group-wide physical security rules and operational measures
  • Control and management of access rights, including office opening and closing procedures
  • Close cooperation with the Physical Security Group
  • Organization and implementation of safety and security training for security staff and facility employees
  • Instruction of employees on safety and protection topics, safety protocols and emergency behavior during onboarding and regular refresher courses
  • Support local and Group-wide security projects such as access control, surveillance and personal security in line with global physical security standards

Your profile

  • Completed studies in the field of security and protection
  • Additional training in specialized security systems and fire protection
  • 5 years of practical experience in security and protection operations, security technologies
  • Strong knowledge of physical security systems and emergency response
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Analytical skills for threat assessment and incident analysis
  • High integrity, responsibility and commitment to Group-wide safety standards are essential
  • Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate with external authorities
  • Leadership qualities in training and employee engagement
  • Fluent in French; very good knowledge of English
