Platform Engineer
As a Platform Engineer, you will be part of a team that builds, operates and develops the infrastructure for the future of our technology estate. In particular, you will work on the development of solutions for Active Directory, Azure/AD, Ansible and Windows Servers.

About the role
You will join our Infrastructure Engineering team and be part of a team that builds, operates and continuously develops the infrastructure that shapes the future of our technology estate.
Tasks
- Design, implementation and optimization of our infrastructure estate, including Active Directories, Windows Servers and automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Writing software to automate infrastructure and create robust self-service technology for thousands of our internal engineers.
- Manage and maintain reliable systems across all our global data centers to ensure smooth operations for the business.
- Setting up and managing infrastructure both on site and in the cloud.
- Introduction of scripts and tools with PowerShell/Python.
- Lead and deliver complex projects under management supervision, working closely with business partners in a dynamic environment.
- Large-scale operation; management of cross-storage memory and large CPU and GPU deployments.
- Contribute to the ongoing management of infrastructure management and automation practices across the organization.
Requirements
Required skills
- Experience in working with Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
- Practical experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform (or similar tools such as Chef, Puppet, Salt).
- Experience in the management and maintenance of complex infrastructure estates.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, self-starter mindset to take ownership of projects and deliver results with minimal supervision.
Desired skills
- Understanding of source code and CI/CD workflows with tools such as GIT.
- Experience in managing operating systems such as Unix & Windows and familiarity with cloud technologies.
- Experience in communication and problem solving.
- Self-organized with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects.
- Desire to learn and understand more about the business environment in which you work.
