Platform Engineer – .NET Runtime Platform and Cloud Development Environment (Full-Time)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Platform Engineer for the .NET Runtime Platform and Cloud Development Environment to help shape the future of wealth management by developing a modern platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining platform solutions to provide developers with a fast and self-sufficient working environment.
Tasks
- Design, implement, and maintain modern platform solutions that provide developers with fast, seamless, and self-service access to runtime environments
- Collaborating with software development teams to co-design platform features and provide them with a modern, customizable developer workspace that delivers an exceptional developer experience
- Developing intelligent automation to streamline platform operations, deployment, and maintenance tasks
- Ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and security of our own services, while adhering to high-quality standards and employing proactive resilience techniques
- Providing support to key stakeholders to address complex technical challenges through a consultative approach and ensure that disruptions to business-critical services are minimized
- Drive continuous improvement by proactively identifying technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and scaling risks, and leading initiatives to enhance platform maturity, reliability, and developer experience
Your profile
- Proven experience as a platform engineer, DevOps engineer, or systems engineer
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts, containerization, and orchestration using technologies such as Kubernetes, Azure, and Ansible
