The Platform Engineer - Observability job requires developing and managing an observability platform for the bank to provide the teams with a modern platform to build, test, release and operate software. The focus is on application monitoring, synthetic monitoring and load and performance testing.
Job description
* Platform Engineer - Observability 100% (m/f/d)Tasks
- Own responsibility for the bank's observability platform, consisting of application performance monitoring, synthetic monitoring and load and performance testing, as a member of a product team
- Management of the platform lifecycle from the design phase to production
- Work closely with application teams; collect feedback and continuously improve the product offering
- Promoting the adoption of "monitoring-as-code" by building an API-based platform
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems
- Good communication, planning and teamwork skills
- Motivated to work in an agile team and achieve ambitious goals together
Requirements
- Independent, efficient, proactive and diligent way of working
- Strong focus on quality management, operational resilience, IT security and risk management
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasks
- Analytical thinking and good knowledge of methods and new ways of working (Agile, DevOps & Continuous Integration etc.)
