Platform Operations Engineer

Job description

Tasks

• Monitoring production systems, responding to alarms, and escalating issues to support and development teams
• Implementation of changes to our production systems
• Facilitation of ITIL-compliant processes (change, incident, and problem management)
• Operation and maintenance of the managed file transfer product

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the operations support industry
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to the responsibilities of the role
• Knowledge of the ITIL framework
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Basic knowledge of Git, Python, or Powershell and other technologies
• Willingness to learn and master new skills and technologies
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including evening shifts (UTC)

Desired qualifications

• Good knowledge in various areas of computer technology (networks, storage, automation, etc.)
• Experience with MFT software
• Advanced Python or Powershell skills (scripting)
• Experience in supporting financial systems or services
