Portfolio Management Analyst

Position Description

We are seeking an analyst to join our portfolio management team at a rapidly growing private credit asset manager. The primary focus of this role is to monitor the performance of 10–20 portfolio companies and assess compliance with financial covenants maintained on an internal financial platform. This includes the ongoing identification and analysis of covenants to assess covenant headroom and credit ratings, as well as the evaluation of financing requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our underwriting, capital markets, business development, investor relations, operations, and treasury teams to take on specialized tasks such as financing, preparing materials for board or director meetings, etc.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications and experience:

• Qualified candidates must have a background in finance or accounting and possess strong financial analysis skills.
• Highly self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Experience with valuation methods (discounted cash flow modeling and debt pricing), credit assessment processes, and ideally a deep understanding of private equity and lending strategies.
• A collaborative work style characterized by high integrity, ethics, and standards.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey clear ideas both verbally and in writing.
• Proactive and capable of delivering consistent, reliable, and timely results in a time-sensitive role.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Level 2 tools or CRM.

We offer

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $170,000 USD. The compensation package may vary depending on the candidate’s skills, experience, location, and performance.
