Portfolio Management Analyst

The Portfolio Management Analyst supports the portfolio management team in monitoring 15–20 portfolios and companies and generates investment ideas. The position requires strong financial analysis skills, experience in finance or accounting, and excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an analyst to join our portfolio management team. The main responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring the performance of 15–20 portfolios and companies
  • Generating Deal Ideas
  • Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data on an internal risk management platform
  • Ongoing identification and analysis of portfolio risks, scenario and stress tests
  • Communication with credit rating agencies to establish and maintain credit ratings
  • Assistance with preparing reports for investors

Candidate Requirements

The requirements for candidates are:
  • A background in finance or accounting with strong financial analysis skills
  • High level of self-motivation and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Experience with waterfall methods (discounted present values, free cash flows, and/or market values); credit rating processes and procedures; and data aggregation and reporting is a plus
  • Experience in a production control or portfolio management role involving data analysis and ratios
  • A collaborative work style that spans departments, characterized by high energy, enthusiasm, and drive
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas both verbally and in writing and to build trust with customers
  • Proactive and dynamic solutions
  • Proven ability to deliver consistent, reliable, and timely results in a time-sensitive role
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI
  • Experience with Sval plus
  • A financial or accounting designation such as CFA or CPA
  • Intermediate skills in SBL, Tower BB, and Python
