Portfolio Management Analyst

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an analyst to join our portfolio management team. The primary focus of this role is monitoring the performance of a $1.6 billion portfolio. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the financial data stored on an internal platform
• Ongoing identification and analysis of portfolio risks
• Participation in quarterly portfolio reviews
• Credit analysis with rating agencies to establish and maintain credit ratings
• Assistance with preparing reports for investors

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications and experience:

• A background in finance or accounting with strong financial analysis skills
• Highly self-motivated, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Experience with valuation methods (discounted cash flow, relative value modeling, and stress testing), credit rating processes and procedures, as well as data aggregation and reporting, is a plus
• Experience in a similar role in private equity or leveraged loans, with a focus on asset-based lending and real estate
• A collaborative work style that spans departments, characterized by high energy, enthusiasm, and drive
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas both verbally and in writing, and to build trust and gain support from various levels of management
• Proven ability to deliver consistent, reliable, and timely results in a time-sensitive role
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI
• Experience with S&P Plus
• A financial or accounting designation such as CFA or CPA
• Intermediate $50k, Tower BB, and Python skills

We offer

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $140,000 USD. The compensation package also includes benefits and allowances.
