Portfolio Management Analyst

Tasks

• Support for the rapidly growing Private Credit and Real Assets team within the Portfolio Management Group.
• Providing comprehensive research capabilities to meet all of the fund's needs.
• An understanding of how various instruments work together to achieve specific mandates and a diverse range of exposures for the portfolio's beneficiaries.
• Work at the benchmark level, with in-depth experience in assessing benchmark risks and exposures across various credit markets.
• Work across multiple private credit platforms and sub-strategies.
• Anticipated workflows at other levels within banks, custodians (primary financial institutions), and the financial institution sector, as well as in financial regulation.
• A senior-level position in a highly dynamic environment.
• Flexibility and a willingness to travel when necessary.

Requirements

• Education:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field such as finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • An MBA or other advanced degree and/or a CFA designation is a plus.
• Experience:
  • At least three years of experience in complex portfolio and accounting management, portfolio risk, valuation, and compliance for investment portfolios.
  • Experience in the areas of public equity/cash and government MBS.
  • Ability to think analytically, logically, and independently.
  • An excellent communicator and team player.
  • Eye-catching and well-organized.
  • Willingness to take on “challenging” and urgent tasks.
• Skills:
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, VBA/macros, SQL, R, and Python.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and effectively communicate results and insights.
  • A strong problem-solver.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
