Portfolio manager - head of department
The role of Portfolio Manager – Head of Department at BCV involves leading and developing a team of portfolio managers, as well as implementing the bank’s investment policy. The ideal candidate will have a university degree, at least five years of experience in a similar role, and an excellent understanding of financial markets and regulatory requirements.
Tasks
- Leading and developing a team of portfolio managers
- Application of the Bank’s placement policy to institutional management mandates and asset allocation funds, in coordination with the necessary operations
- Participation in specific investment committees and in the development of certain elements of the investment policy
- Daily monitoring of portfolios and asset classes
- Monitoring compliance with policies, investment regulations, and other internal restrictions
- Participation in the development of customized solutions and IT tools to promote the industrialization of the management process
- Support for consultants
- Collaboration with investment policy and other asset management departments
Requirements
- University or higher education (HES or equivalent)
- Successful experience of five years or more in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of financial markets and the regulatory requirements specific to institutional client management and investment funds
- Proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg; programming skills in Python or MATLAB
- Leadership skills, team spirit, accuracy, excellent analytical and communication skills
- Perfect command of French, very good knowledge of English
