Portfolio manager - head of department
The role of Portfolio Manager - Head of Department at BCV involves managing and developing a team of portfolio managers and implementing the bank's investment policy. The ideal candidate will have a university degree, at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, and excellent knowledge of financial markets and regulatory requirements.
Tasks
- Management and development of a team of portfolio managers
- Application of the bank's investment policy to institutional asset management mandates and investment funds, including coordination of the necessary operations
- Participation in specific investment committees and in the development of certain elements of the investment policy
- Daily monitoring of portfolios and asset classes
- Monitoring compliance with policies, investment regulations, and other internal restrictions
- Participation in the development of customized solutions and IT tools to promote the industrialization of the investment process
- Support for consultants
- Collaboration with investment policy and other asset management departments
Requirements
- University or higher education (HES or equivalent)
- Successful experience of five years or more in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of financial markets and the regulatory specifics of institutional client management and investment funds
- Perfect command of Excel and Bloomberg IT tools, knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Matlab
- Leadership skills, team spirit, accuracy, excellent analytical and communication skills
- Perfect command of French, very good knowledge of English
