Portfolio manager - head of department
The Portfolio Manager - Head of Service will lead and develop a team of portfolio managers and implement the bank's policy on the management of institutional mandates and funds. The position requires experience in the financial sector, excellent knowledge of markets and regulations, and leadership skills.
Tasks
- Management and development of a team of portfolio managers
- Application of the bank's investment policy to institutional asset management mandates and investment funds, including coordination of necessary operations
- Participation in specific investment committees and in the development of certain elements of the investment policy
- Daily monitoring of portfolios and asset classes
- Monitoring compliance with policies, investment regulations, and other internal restrictions
- Participation in the development of customized solutions and IT tools to promote the industrialization of the investment process
- Support for consultants
- Collaboration with investment policy and other asset management departments
Requirements
- University or higher education (HES or equivalent)
- Successful experience of five years or more in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of financial markets and the regulatory specifics of institutional client management and investment funds
- Perfect command of Excel and Bloomberg IT tools, knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Matlab
- Leadership skills, team spirit, accuracy, excellent analytical and communication skills
- Perfect command of French, very good knowledge of English
