Portfolio manager - head of department
The Portfolio Manager - Head of Service will lead and develop a team of portfolio managers and implement the bank's policy on the management of institutional mandates and funds. The ideal candidate will have a university degree, at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, and excellent knowledge of financial markets and regulatory requirements.
Tasks
- Leading and developing a team of portfolio managers
- Application of the bank's placement policy to institutional management mandates and asset distribution funds, in coordination with the necessary operations
- Participation in specific investment committees and in the development of certain elements of the investment policy
- Daily monitoring of portfolios and asset classes
- Monitoring compliance with policies, investment regulations, and other internal restrictions
- Participation in the development of customized solutions and IT tools to promote the industrialization of the administrative process
- Support for consultants
- Collaboration with investment policy and other asset management departments
Requirements
- University or higher education (HES or equivalent)
- Successful experience of five years or more in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of financial markets and the regulatory specifics of institutional client management and investment funds
- Perfect command of Excel and Bloomberg IT tools, programming skills in Python or Matlab
- Leadership skills, team spirit, accuracy, excellent analytical and communication skills
- Perfect command of French, very good knowledge of English
