Portfolio Manager
LGT Bank Switzerland is seeking an experienced portfolio manager to design, implement, and manage the portfolio, as well as to further develop the investment philosophy and quantitative analysis processes. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in a finance-related field, possesses strong analytical skills, and has a very good command of German and English.
Your Responsibilities
- An in-house, experienced team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our portfolio in the role of portfolio manager
- Further Development of the Investment Philosophy
- Identification of Specific Investment Niches
- Selection of strategic asset allocation, in close coordination with the client and regulatory requirements, as well as the implementation of global and regional investment plans
- Preparation of risk, performance, and risk management analyses, as well as earnings forecasts, for discussion by the Portfolio Management and Investment Committees
- Support in the evaluation and implementation of acquisition strategies
- Collaborating with internal staff to ensure prompt and effective portfolio execution
- Further development of analytics software, reporting, and portfolio management processes, including through Python-based automation and development
- Documentation of sustainable methods and communication of results for quantitative and statistical analyses
Your profile
- A university degree in finance, economics, and/or a related field
- Knowledge of system management, multi-asset management, or benchmark management
- Understanding of the most important current markets, simulations, and areas of specialization
- Consulting Experience
- Knowledge of Bloomberg PORT Enterprise and Bloomberg Optimizer is a plus
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Ability to clearly communicate and implement complex results
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Additional language skills are a plus
