Portfolio Manager - Multi Asset
As a Portfolio Manager (Multi-Asset) at Vontobel, you will be responsible for the active management of multi-asset portfolios for institutional clients and work closely with sales teams to develop customized investment strategies. Your tasks will include market research, risk analysis, portfolio construction and client reporting.

Tasks
- Active management of multi-asset portfolios for institutional clients
- Conducting market research and analyzing financial data
- Analysis and assessment of potential risks in connection with investment decisions, development and implementation of risk management strategies
- Construction and management of investment portfolios, taking into account the client's asset allocation, risk tolerance and investment objectives
- Execution of trades as required, ensuring timely and efficient portfolio adjustments
- Regular reporting to clients, information on the decision-making process, portfolio performance and market trends
- Collaborate with other investment professionals, including investment strategists, research analysts, traders and portfolio managers to ensure an optimized portfolio
- Compliance with internal guidelines and regulations
Requirements
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Deep understanding and experience in portfolio management, portfolio construction, asset allocation and risk management
- Extensive knowledge of the financial markets and familiarity with financial models
- Personal integrity and ability to maintain the confidentiality of company and customer data
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders
- Ability to think and decide independently, willing to take risks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver 'client-ready' (accurate, consistent, polished) results that clearly communicate key messages
Profile
- University degree (or equivalent) in finance, economics or a related field
- Certification in good standing, such as CFA, CAIA or CFP, is considered an advantage
- At least 5 years of experience in discretionary portfolio management in a private bank or asset management company
- Proven track record, ideally in multi-asset, but strong single-asset class managers (equities/bonds) with an interest in multi-asset will also be considered
- Quantitative/programming skills are a plus
- Language skills: German and English are required, French is a plus
