Portfolio Review Specialist
The Portfolio Reviews Specialist is responsible for helping to improve the quality of portfolio advisory services and increase revenue at Julius Baer in Hong Kong. The role involves collaborating with Global Asset Class Specialists and Relationship Managers, analyzing client portfolios, and developing processes to enhance efficiency.
Tasks
- Work collaboratively with the Global Asset Class Specialists and Relationship Managers to review and reassess PB Advice Premium client portfolios
- Motivate and provide feedback to other team members to improve overall performance and productivity
- Develop a scalable process to efficiently analyze PB/Advice Premium client portfolios
- Develop and maintain a database of "Buy" and "Sell" recommendations
- Stay up to date on changes in the bank's research and the CIO's views
- Consult regularly with global asset class specialists to implement appropriate portfolio actions at the asset class level
- Hold discussions with Relationship Managers/Global Asset Class Specialists to agree on client profiles, preferences, etc. (before and after the review)
- Create presentation materials (supplementary information, charts, tables, etc.) for relationship managers to use when discussing matters with their clients
Requirements
- High level of motivation and an inclusive personality
- Basic knowledge of investment products and experience in applying a global portfolio approach across all asset classes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and financial information/data systems (e.g., Bloomberg)
- A background in quantitative analysis is desirable
- Strong entrepreneurial judgment, business acumen, and a solid understanding of the global investment industry, markets, and products
- Language skills: English (spoken and written) and a second language (Cantonese or Mandarin) are required
- Certification as a Certified Private Wealth Professional (CPWP) is preferred
- HKMA/SFC-licensed representative
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations and requirements
- Cross-border rules and regulations
