Portfolio Risk Analyst

Job Title Summary

• The Portfolio Risk Analyst will be part of the Risk Management team at Man Group. This role will involve working with various teams across the firm to assess and manage risks associated with the firm's investment portfolios.

Tasks

• Assessing and managing risks associated with the firm's investment portfolios
• Developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures
• Providing advice and guidance to investment teams on risk-related matters
• Monitoring and reporting on key risk metrics
• Contributing to the development and testing of new risk management tools and methodologies

Requirements

• Proven experience in risk management, particularly in the financial services sector
• A strong understanding of financial instruments and their associated risks
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and analyze complex data sets
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical audiences
• Experience with risk management software and tools
• A degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or mathematics
• An interest in the latest developments in risk management methodologies and tools
• An interest in continuous learning and professional development
