Overview

Presentations & Production Specialist

Tasks

  • Supporting the business through the production of sales and customer service materials
  • Execution of marketing strategies for all business products and brands
  • Collaborate with customer service professionals to respond to sales and customer inquiries

Specific responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of products and strategies offered by Man's core investment engines (SHAM, AHL, Solutions and IPM)
  • Assist in the production of marketing materials, including presentations, executive summaries, fact sheets and standardized report templates
  • Assisting with marketing initiatives which may include events, webcasts, PR, sponsorship and advertising
  • Assistance in the development and implementation of marketing strategies
  • Assistance in the development and implementation of standardized templates and marketing strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with Man Group employees, including portfolio managers, sales staff, marketing professionals, compliance, legal and other operational staff
  • Flexibility to travel to other Man offices and take on short term assignments to produce materials
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to solve client and product-related marketing issues
  • Assistance in the development and implementation of team processes

Requirements

  • Understanding of financial markets and performance statistics, understanding of the asset management industry and the hedge fund industry
  • Ability to review materials, markets, statistics and legal and compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with the production and use of non-financial presentations
  • Ability to interpret data concisely and transform it into compelling marketing materials
  • Ability to work with different people in the organization to coordinate projects and solve problems
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including customers
  • Effective organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage and coordinate projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Thomson PowerPoint, Excel and other software used by Man
