Principal Automation Engineer

Position Summary

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced automation solutions across digital transformation, industry programs, and application management.
• Oversee the development of infrastructure architects, managing the deployment, configuration, and security of Code as Infrastructure (IaC), Configuration as Code (CxIaC), and infrastructure as a service to improve network availability and reliability, reduce operational costs, and manage and automate cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Provide expert guidance to infrastructure architects, engineers, and developers to ensure that the use of automation technologies (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, etc.) is consistent with best practices in code quality, security, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement automation playbooks, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service provisioning frameworks.
• Contribute to meeting the organization's DevOps maturity, application management, and compliance requirements.

  • Drive cross-team alignment to support enterprise-wide initiatives such as security posture, backup and restore, and application resilience.
  • Champion continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) patterns at scale.
• Automation Engineering
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable pipeline engineering for automated infrastructure provisioning.
  • Automate complex, multi-vendor environments or data center automation environments.
  • Build automated testing and integrated automation for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement automated testing.
