Tasks

• Technical, easy-to-read design—writing detailed, scalable, and maintainable code that integrates into our existing codebase
• Strong interest in research on emerging topics—serverless architecture, WebAssembly, WebGGL, and network load balancers

• Use of backend technologies (JDBC and relational databases), modern JavaScript, and relational databases

Requirements

• 4+ to 5+ years of experience in software development, as well as the development, deployment, and execution of web applications
• Full-stack experience in developing scalable applications based on REST and other web APIs to build and deploy applications that meet the company's business and technical goals
• Practical knowledge of one or more client-side languages or frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
• Practical knowledge of asynchronous web development technologies available to teams (Webpack, Rollup, Parcel, or others)
• A strong interest in experimentation and iteration. Exploratory, data-driven development and A/B testing
• Previous experience working with large and agile engineering teams to deliver a high-quality, high-volume codebase within the framework
• Passion and commitment to data quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability
• Experience with backend stacks such as Node.js and RESTful API services
• Ability to think structurally—to translate a complex problem into a solution in the most relevant yet elegant way
• Professional debugging in a fast-paced environment with limited context
• Knowledge and understanding of cloud-based management
• A strong passion for writing clean, maintainable code
• A preference for automation without requiring unnecessary abstractions
• Strong interest in building a modern, accessible user interface: Next.js, React, Redux, TypeScript, state management, testing (Enzyme, Jest, JSC), and general JavaScript usage
• Core Web Fundamentals: Browsers, C2B, DevTools
• A keen sense of design and an eye for detail
• A strong work ethic, a desire to learn and grow, and a constructive approach to problems
• Empathy, flexibility, and curiosity
