Principal, SRE

Tasks

• Responsible for the status and maintenance of services
• Automation of (site) recovery and event monitoring, including upgrade tasks and service management
• Improving Preparedness, Resilience, and Redundancy in Disaster Recovery
• Ensuring that the SLAs and the current or future platform meet requirements in areas such as availability, service levels, capacity planning, etc.
• Participation in the design and documentation of solutions
• Responsible for the delivery status in the areas of interest to the Application Team (SRE)
• Contribution to the design and implementation of software for the security of offshore platforms, including network security
• Operation and monitoring of systems, scripts, and application infrastructure, including continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and security-related configurations
• Lead cross-team collaboration on best practices, identify solutions, and provide technical leadership
• Work on infrastructure projects (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and security)
• Application Health Monitoring and Log Analysis (Elastic, Datadog)
• Ensuring that SLA and uptime metrics are met and prioritized
• Mentoring Junior SREs
• Infrastructure setup and maintenance (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS)
• Development and Improvement of CI/CD Pipelines
• System Monitoring and Troubleshooting
• Security and Compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, software engineering, or information security); a master's degree or equivalent is preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Site Reliability Engineering, or a closely related field
• Strong hands-on expertise in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), as well as proficiency in Linux/Unix for infrastructure, application deployment, and security management (e.g., zero-trust, IAM, network segmentation) is desired
• Excellent understanding of cryptographic protocols, supply chain security, and application security
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (such as Python, Jenkins, or Python)
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines, service management (IaC, etc.), scripting (Python, Bash), and security automation
• Focused, detail-oriented, and capable of translating complex risk and compliance requirements into easy-to-understand outcomes, technical roadmaps, and actionable plans with clear operating procedures
• Preferred: Experience with implementing zero-trust architectures (e.g., Sails, Istio, OPA) and with PKI concepts, hardware security modules (HSMs), and secure container runtimes
• At least 5 years in operations and platform roles
• DevOps and SRE skills, along with configuration expertise
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Problem-solving ability
• Fluency in English
• Expertise in infrastructure management (e.g., Kubernetes experience, Terraform)
• Experience with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) (AWS preferred, but not a deal-breaker if you're familiar with others)
• Experience with observability tools (e.g., Datadog or similar)
