Principal Tech Project Manager, Cybersecurity Delivery Lead

Tasks

• Collaborating with clients and stakeholders, providing on-site support, and leading cybersecurity, network, and cloud security projects.
• Work with clients to implement and coordinate requirements in order to achieve agreed-upon project outcomes.
• Building and managing a strong customer network across the entire spectrum of technology providers.
• Building the client's own internal cyber teams, from initial research through development and leadership to delivery.
• Deployment and management of cybersecurity technologies (e.g., next-generation firewalls, EDR, vulnerability management, incident response, threat intelligence, CDM, SOAR, SIEM, API security testing).
• Shared Responsibility and Definition of Scope for Cyber Projects.
• Handling tasks related to delivery, communication, and quality issues.
• Management of a complex web infrastructure.
• Management of a complex portfolio.
• Assuming multiple roles, including project manager and Scrum Master.
• Remote work with the U.S. management team.
• Managing a large, distributed team.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in delivering cybersecurity projects, including 3 years leading delivery management and operations in complex, global, enterprise-scale industries.
• At least a basic understanding of the principles of the cybersecurity lifecycle, business and technology requirements, and the associated technical solutions.
• Experience in complex industries across a range of company sizes.
• A proven track record of building trusting, cross-functional, and efficient relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Experience successfully managing cross-functional teams, including software developers, data engineers, and hardware specialists, with a focus on prioritizing work, assigning tasks, and managing delivery progress.
• Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems and develop practical solutions to the most challenging technical issues through innovation and sound work practices, including the design and analysis of changes and tests in various operational scenarios.
• In-depth knowledge of system architecture, security, and integration.
• Strong customer communication skills, combined with a practical approach to understanding current market developments, trends, products, and systems.
• Knowledge and expertise in cybersecurity and IT roles, with more than 3 years of experience in cybersecurity and cybersecurity delivery management or a related role.
• Knowledge and experience with specific software or product models for risk management and organizational risk assessment.
• Cybersecurity awareness and risk assessment, combined with strong technical security skills.
• Cybersecurity expertise in the following areas:
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, CIS, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS, FedRAMP)
  • Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
  • Cybersecurity risk management, including the identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks
  • Cybersecurity Incident Response and Management
  • Cybersecurity Monitoring and Analysis
  • Cybersecurity Tests and Assessments (e.g., penetration tests, vulnerability scans)
  • Cybersecurity Awareness and Training
  • Development of Cybersecurity Policies and Procedures
