Principal, Tech Project Manager - Cybersecurity Delivery Lead

Tasks

• Lead global technology projects and programs from conception through handover, taking into account market practices, technologies, governance, and the internal and external customer environment.
• Developing project plans in close collaboration with key stakeholders, including defining scope and requirements.
• Designing and estimating projects while balancing effort and quality to achieve profitable results.
• Clarifying, evaluating, and managing project size, scope, costs, and dependencies to ensure successful project management.
• Supporting and actively leading the project team through milestones and deliverables.
• Management of the risk register and emergency planning.
• Contribution to modeling and problem-solving.
• Proactive Management or Reducing Complexity.
• Identify deliveries, project teams, and/or initiatives as "company-wide and group-wide" so that they can be taken into account as needed and to foster a culture of support or project management.
• Development of the strategic and tactical plan necessary for the implementation and success of the initiative from start to finish.
• Negotiating contracts and managing stakeholder processes to ensure smooth management at both the legal and technical levels.
• Proactive engagement of customers, partners, and internal project managers/stakeholders.
• Effective collaboration with other teams and integration across multiple project management methodologies.
• Building trusting relationships, reducing complexity, and ensuring transparency.
• Fostering customer relationships while simultaneously implementing various project delivery frameworks and objectives.
• Leading and motivating the project team, managing and monitoring the customer journey, and tracking customer success.
• Identifying and overcoming project challenges, as well as proactively seeking ways to mitigate them.
• Development of appropriate, high-level requirement specifications related to entity and engagement planning.
• Strengthening and fine-tuning to support project efficiency and quality in the project planning process and in terms of effort.
• Integration and promotion of continuous improvement through proactive and ongoing planning, as well as offsite meetings.
• Investing in the ongoing development of skills and competencies to advance one's career in the field of security (e.g., by successfully completing relevant professional certifications).
• Preparation of documentation.
• Creating Excel, PowerPoint, and reports, such as sprint reports, board reports, etc.
• Presentation to the Head of the Business Office a few days a month in London.

Requirements

• Proactive, practical technical skills.
• Strong customer relationships.
• Experience in executive management—leading business teams with total contract and delivery profitability ranging from £15,000 to £50,000.
• Project management skills and domain expertise (extensive experience with digital project management software).
• Experience in IT and operations management.
• Customer Focus and Executive Management.
• Proven skills in MBS Project, Azure DevOps, JIRA, and MS Office.
• Ability to manage the following projects.
• Ability to create and manage two or more data pipeline projects simultaneously.
• Great attention to detail, including customer-focused deliveries.
