Private Bank, Client Service Associate - Emerging Markets, Geneva
JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Client Service Associate for its Private Bank in Geneva to serve as the first point of contact for service requests from clients in emerging markets. The role involves processing transactions, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulations in an international environment.
Tasks
- Ensuring a High Level of Service for Private Banking Clients
- Maintain customer confidentiality at all times
- Accurately manage daily customer transactions and inquiries in accordance with established policies and procedures; the transaction approval level/limit varies based on experience and skills
- Investigate, track, and resolve customer inquiries and issues using appropriate means (internal/correspondent bank)
- Investigate potential or actual cases of fraud, errors, and deception to ensure appropriate corrective action is taken
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and present them to staff in a timely and professional manner
- Work with bankers to understand the needs of a specific customer group and position the customer (we operate in an environment where customer types are diverse and the product offerings vary from customer to customer)
- Review and maintain data quality with regard to internal and external compliance requirements and guidelines
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the team leader
- Coordinate and track customer requests for the delivery of products and services
- Serving as the first point of contact for all service-related needs of a private banking client
- Collaborate with bankers, investors, various product specialists, mid-office, and operations teams to provide our clients with a seamless and integrated experience across all private banking products
- Be regionally focused on bankers and their client base
- Make payments, monitor overdrafts and cash balances
- Perform account maintenance (opening and closing accounts, changing addresses)
- Process customer transactions (payments, etc.)
- Process corporate actions (dividends, subscription rights, stock splits, etc.)
- Contribute to the Group's overall success
Requirements
- Fluency in English and French
- Strong relationship management skills
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technological environment in order to meet customer needs
- Serve customers as efficiently as possible
- In-depth knowledge of deposits, banking, brokerage, custody, and investment management techniques, in order to execute transactions in each of these areas within their respective regional business units
- Understanding and complying with regulations, policies, and procedures to account for the potential financial liabilities associated with transactions involving expenditures
- Effective communication, judgment, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills
- Degree in business administration or equivalent financial qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role in the financial services and/or investment banking industry
