JPMorganChase is seeking a private banker for the Turkey region in Geneva to serve ultra-high-net-worth clients and acquire new clients. The ideal candidate will have experience as a private banker, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of investments, banking, and financial planning.

Job Summary

As a private banker in the Turkey team, you are the face of J.P. Morgan's private banking business. You build new client acquisitions and relationships through comprehensive knowledge of investments, banking, fiduciary services, and financial planning. This role is also responsible for the client experience and engages our resources to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution.

Job Responsibilities

The tasks include:
  • Focus on acquiring new clients and new assets from existing and new ultra-high-net-worth clients from Turkey
  • Maintenance and further development of an existing customer base consisting of ultra-high-net-worth customers from Turkey
  • Sale and implementation of investment, banking, and trust products for core customers
  • Deployment and coordination of specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise for complex clients
  • Managing each account to ensure that the customer has a complete profile and that accounts are properly maintained
  • Ensuring that all customer interactions and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
  • Monitoring and managing risks associated with customer relationships and taking proactive measures to mitigate potential problems
  • Building trust with customers and effective relationship management
  • Ensuring that the proposed products and services meet the needs, goals, and objectives of customers
  • Delivering a seamless and exceptional customer experience and, where appropriate, engaging XLOB partners to enrich the overall customer experience with J.P. Morgan

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

The requirements include:
  • Proven experience and success as a private banker or in a similar role, with a focus on the Turkish asset market, working with UHNWI families, entrepreneurs, executives, single-family offices, and foundations
  • Previous experience in business development and skills
  • Demonstrable sales success, including: prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale, and requesting referrals
  • Results-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, always within a regulatory and risk-controlled framework
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sufficient attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Turkish (preferred) and English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-focused approach
  • Strong relationship management and team-building skills; team collaboration considered critical to the business model

Preferred requirements include:
  • Degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or Z
