JPMorganChase is seeking a private banker for the Turkey region in Geneva to serve ultra-high-net-worth clients and acquire new clients. The ideal candidate will have experience as a private banker, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of investments, banking, and financial planning.

Job Summary

As a private banker in the Turkey team, you will act as a point of contact for J.P. Morgan's private banking business. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients and retaining existing ones, and will have extensive knowledge of investments, banking, fiduciary services, and financial planning.

Job Responsibilities

- Focus on acquiring new customers and expanding the existing customer base in Turkey - Be responsible for the distribution and implementation of investment, banking, and trust products for core customers - Utilize specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise for complex customers - Manage each account to ensure that the customer has a complete profile and that accounts are properly maintained - Ensure that all customer interactions and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines - Monitor and manage risks associated with customer relationships and take proactive measures to avoid potential problems - Build trust with customers and effectively manage relationships - Ensure that the products and services offered meet the needs, goals, and objectives of customers - Deliver excellent customer service and engage XLOB partners as needed to enrich the customer relationship

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

- Successful experience as a private banker or in a similar role with a focus on the Turkish market - Experience in business development and sales - Successful sales experience, including prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiating, team sales approach, closing sales, and requesting referrals - Results-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sufficient attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluent Turkish (preferred) and English - Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a customer-focused approach - Strong relationship management and team-building skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are preferred.
  • Experience or proven understanding of investments, banking, loans, and wealth planning concepts
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment, including regulatory and technological developments
