JPMorganChase is seeking a private banker for the Turkey region in Geneva to serve ultra-high-net-worth clients and acquire new clients. The ideal candidate will have experience as a private banker, strong communication and sales skills, and knowledge of investments, banking, and wealth planning.

Tasks

As a private banker in the Turkey team, you would act as the face of J.P. Morgan's private banking business. Your responsibilities would include:
  • Acquiring and retaining new customers through comprehensive knowledge of investments, banking, fiduciary services, and financial planning
  • Responsibility for the customer experience and the integration of resources to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution
  • Focus on acquiring new clients and new assets from existing and new ultra-high-net-worth clients from Turkey
  • Management and development of an existing customer base
  • Sale and implementation of investment, banking, and trust/inheritance products
  • Coordination of specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise for complex clients
  • Managing customer accounts to ensure that customers have complete profiles and that accounts are properly managed and maintained
  • Ensuring that all customer interactions and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines

Requirements

Required qualifications, skills, and characteristics:
  • Proven experience as a private banker or in a similar role, with a focus on the Turkish asset market
  • Previous experience in business and sales
  • Proven sales success, including prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing sales, and requesting referrals
  • Results-oriented, with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, always within a regulatory and risk-controlled framework
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sufficient attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interaction skills, with fluency in Turkish (preferred) and English

Preferred qualifications

Preferred qualifications, skills, and characteristics:
  • Academic degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) preferred
  • Experience or proven understanding of investments, banking, credit, and wealth planning concepts
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment, including regulatory and technological developments
