Private Banker, Saudi Market, Executive Director

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an experienced private banker to serve as Executive Director for the Saudi market in Geneva, with a focus on acquiring new clients and managing existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in private banking, strong communication and sales skills, and a deep understanding of investments, banking, and trust services.

Tasks

  • Prospecting and acquiring new customers within the Saudi Arabian market.
  • Responsibility for the sale and implementation of investment, banking, and trust/estate products for key clients.
  • Leveraging and coordinating specialists (investor, capital advisor, trust and estate advisor, and wealth advisor) to provide interdisciplinary expertise for clients with complex needs.
  • Manage each account to ensure that a client has a complete profile and that accounts are properly maintained and managed, in particular in accordance with J.P. Morgan’s risk management policies.
  • Build trust with customers and effectively manage relationships.
  • Ensure that the proposed products and services best meet the customer’s needs, goals, and objectives.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in the private banking sector working with high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Previous experience in business development.
  • Performance-oriented, focused on exceeding business goals while paying close attention to detail.
  • Proven sales success, including: prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team-based sales approach, closing the sale, and requesting referrals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong relationship management and team-building skills; considers the concept of teamwork to be critical.
  • Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, banking, and trust concepts, including but not limited to: asset allocation across structured portfolios, managed portfolios, and brokerage accounts; portfolio reviews; deposit and credit solutions; basic trust and estate products; and the identification of wealth planning opportunities.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment, including regulatory and technological changes.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
