As a Private Banker in the Levant team at JPMorgan Chase, you will be responsible for serving ultra-high net worth clients from Lebanon and Egypt, developing relationships through extensive knowledge of investments, banking services, fiduciary services and financial planning. You will be responsible for client acquisition, relationship building and providing wealth management solutions.

Job Summary

As a Private Banker in the Levant team (Lebanon and Egypt), you would act as the face of J.P. Morgan's Private Banking business. You would lead the client acquisition and relationship through a broad knowledge of investments, banking, trust services and financial planning. This role is also responsible for the client experience and engaging our resources to deliver a complete wealth management solution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Actively focus on prospecting and acquiring new clients and new assets from new and existing Ultra High Net Worth clients from the Levant
  • Maintain and further develop an existing book of business consisting of Ultra High Net Worth clients from the Levant
  • Sales and implementation of banking, trust and asset/wealth products to core clients as appropriate
  • Leverage and coordinate specialists (investor, Capital Advisor, Wealth Advisor, and other Subject Matter Experts) to provide inter-disciplinary expertise to our most complex clients
  • Manage each account to ensure that the client has a structured profile and that accounts are properly maintained and serviced, specifically adhering to J.P. Morgan Risk Management framework
  • Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal JPMorgan policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage risks associated with client relationship with the firm and take proactive measures to mitigate potential issues.
  • Build trust with clients and effectively manage relationships
  • Ensure that the proposed products and services maximize the client's needs, goals and objectives
  • Deliver seamless and exceptional service excellence, and on need basis engage ALOB partners to ensure the overall client experience with J.P. Morgan

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Proven track record and experience as a Private Banker or in a similar role, with focus on the Levant wealth market, working with UHNW families, entrepreneurs, executives, single family offices and endowments
  • Previous business development experience and skills
  • Proven sales success including prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referrals.
  • Result oriented, with exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, always working within a regulatory and risk managed framework
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sufficient attention to details and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Arabic (preferred) and English
  • Ability to work independently as a part of a team and with a client-centric approach.
  • Strong relationship management and team building skills; views team collaboration as critical to the business model

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) preferred.
  • Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, banking, credit and wealth planning concepts including, but not limited to: asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposits and lending solutions, basic trust and estate products and identification of wealth planning opportunities
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business including regulatory and technological environment
