Private Banking Compliance Officer, Americas & Iberia Region, 80%–100% (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Private Banking Compliance Officer for the Americas and Iberia regions, who will be responsible for monitoring and implementing compliance policies. The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in law or business administration, 3–5 years of experience in client onboarding, and knowledge of the Swiss regulatory framework.

Private Banking Compliance Officer, Americas & Iberia Region, 80%–100% (f/m/d)Tasks
- Resolving pending onboarding cases and escalations
- Identification and investigation of serious cases of non-compliance
- Provision of training and training materials related to compliance issues
- Support for internal compliance projects
- Recommendation, development, and implementation of solutions for the continuous improvement of our processes, procedures, and services
Requirements
- Master’s degree in law or business administration, postgraduate studies in compliance management or equivalent
- 3–5 years of experience in client onboarding at an international private bank or in auditing
- Knowledge of the Swiss regulatory landscape, particularly AML regulations and customer documentation standards
- Solid knowledge of the Americas and Iberia region
- A strong leader with excellent organizational and operational skills and a proven ability to work under pressure
- Ability to write precise reviews
- A strong sense of integrity and discretion
- Independent, efficient, methodical, and solution-oriented
- Good knowledge of MS Office and IT flair
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish (spoken and written); knowledge of other languages is a plus
