Private Credit, Investment Services Associate
The position of Investment Services Associate in the Private Credit division at Man Group in New York involves creating investment content for a group of private credit funds, supporting investment teams, and developing relationships with sales teams. The successful candidate will create high-quality materials and act as a point of contact for sales teams and clients.
Job description
Tasks
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive range of investment materials, including fund marketing, launch materials for new products, performance presentations, technical content (questionnaires and customer quizzes), and value materials (brochures, product sheets, product offerings, product updates).
- Develop compelling and differentiated product messaging to position strategies competitively (in collaboration with investment teams and product teams) and engage various internal and external stakeholders (including clients) as a subject matter expert
- Communication about specific market events, product milestones
- Collaborate with private markets management teams, CIOs, and other key stakeholders within the company to ensure that content is impactful and of the highest quality.
- Interact with the performance and product team to proactively identify opportunities and initiate projects where investment services can add value for portfolio managers, the sales team, and the broader company.
- Ensuring that the latest performance analyses and messages are included in all materials
- Act as an ambassador for IS internally and be a positive role model for younger team members.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field is required. CFA, CAIA, or IMC qualifications are preferred but not required.
- 3+ years of experience in client services or content creation within the industry and a solid understanding of private and public markets and their interactions (or equivalent)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior members of asset and investment management to support sales priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to understand institutional/retail customer expectations and requirements.
- Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize work effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet deadlines (flexibility to work on short notice)
- Entrepreneurial mindset, continuously striving to improve new relevant skills
- Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail/accuracy
Compensation and Benefits
- Anticipated base salary range: $95,000 - $130,000 USD
