Private Credit, Investment Services Associate

The position of Investment Services Associate in the Private Credit division at Man Group in New York involves creating investment content for a group of private credit funds and developing relationships with investment teams and sales teams. The successful candidate will create high-quality materials and serve as a point of contact for sales and clients.

Job description

Tasks

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive range of investment materials, including fund marketing, new product launches, materials, performance presentations, thematic content, and sales support materials.
  • Development of compelling and differentiated product messages to position strategies competitively against peers
  • Communication about specific market events and product milestones
  • Collaborate with the Private Markets Solutions team to ensure that management information about the company is designed and collected in a way that enables insights to be gained.
  • Ensuring that service and product materials are targeted and of the highest quality
  • Identifying opportunities and initiating projects where investment services can add value for portfolio managers, sales teams, and companies
  • Ensuring that the latest fund data, analyses, and messages are included in all materials
  • Act as an ambassador for investment services internally and as a positive role model for younger team members

Requirements

  • Completion of a degree in a relevant field required
  • CFA, CIMA, or IMC qualification preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of experience in client service or content creation within the industry and a solid understanding of private markets and/or institutional asset management
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior members of asset and investment management to support sales priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and make effective decisions
  • Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail and accuracy

  • Anticipated base salary range: $100,000 - $150,000 USD
