Private Debt Fund Analyst

Job description

The position of Private Debt Fund Analyst involves the following responsibilities:

• Preparation of detailed financial models and memoranda for investment committees
• Review of Legal Documents
• Monitoring of portfolio investments: Analyzing and preparing periodic reports on the fund’s performance and the current financial situation of the portfolio companies
• Identifying financing opportunities through meetings with potential target companies, private equity funds, and advisors
• Support for the launch of future funds, including marketing tasks and reporting to investors

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• 2–3 years of experience in the debt capital markets, private equity, or hedge funds; at a leading investment bank (M&A, structured finance, or DCM); and/or at a Big Four firm (transaction services, M&A, debt advisory, or restructuring)
• Previous experience in the real estate sector is highly valued
• Excellent academic background and financial expertise (including accounting, financial analysis, and valuation)
• Strong modeling skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus (French, German, Italian, Portuguese)
• International experience is very valuable
• Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to contribute your own ideas and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure and in a context of shifting priorities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Attention to detail
