Private Debt Fund Analyst

Job description

Alantra Private Debt is the company’s private debt platform, which offers flexible, long-term financing solutions for European mid-market companies in the areas of corporate direct lending and real estate debt. Since its inception, the platform has raised over €1.0 billion and completed more than 60 transactions, with teams in Madrid and Milan.

Tasks

The following tasks are part of the job:

• Transaction Execution: Analysis of target companies and markets, review of due diligence materials, preparation of detailed financial models, drafting of investment committee memoranda, and assistance with the review of legal documents.
• Portfolio support: Monitoring portfolio performance and assessing the financial condition of portfolio companies, including the preparation of periodic internal and investor reports.
• Origination and fundraising support: Identifying investment opportunities through engagement with companies, sponsors, and advisors. Contributing to fundraising initiatives, including the preparation of marketing materials and investor reports.

Requirements

The following requirements are necessary:

• Fluency in English and Spanish; a third European language (Italian, French, German, or Portuguese) is highly desirable.
• Excellent academic background and strong financial knowledge, including accounting, financial analysis, and valuation.
• Advanced financial modeling skills and strong proficiency in Excel.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to contribute ideas and work independently.
• Previous experience in the real estate industry is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
