Job description
The position of Private Debt Fund Analyst involves the following responsibilities:- Preparation of detailed financial models and memoranda for investment committees
- Review of Legal Documents
- Monitoring of portfolio investments: Analyzing and preparing periodic reports on the fund’s performance and the current financial situation of the portfolio companies
- Identifying financing opportunities through meetings with potential target companies, private equity funds, and advisors
- Support for the launch of future funds, including marketing tasks and reporting to investors
Requirements
The following requirements apply:- 2–3 years of experience in debt capital markets, private equity, or hedge funds; at a leading investment bank (M&A, structured finance, or DCM); and/or at a Big Four firm (transaction services, M&A, debt capital markets, or restructuring)
- Previous experience in the real estate sector is highly valued
- Excellent academic background and financial expertise (including accounting, financial analysis, and valuation)
- Strong modeling skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus (French, German, Italian, Portuguese)
- International experience is highly valued
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to contribute your own ideas and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work under pressure and in a context of shifting priorities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
