Private Equity Analyst

Tasks

• Financial Analysis and Modeling: Development of financial models to support management decision-making and to facilitate discussions with management of potential portfolio companies.
• Valuation Analysis: Assistance with the valuation and modeling of identified companies; preparation of valuation materials; conducting market research; and performing company and industry analyses. Assistance with the preparation of investment memoranda. Assistance with the preparation of pitch books and other investment materials.
• Due Diligence: Supporting the due diligence process and conducting in-depth analyses in the areas of market research, industry analysis, and competitive analysis. Supporting finance departments with all necessary analyses related to revenue, costs, and operational and financial data.
• Transaction Execution: Conducting market research and industry analysis, and providing support throughout the M&A transaction process.
• Post-investment monitoring: Tracking the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies and preparing regular reports.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in private equity, strategy consulting, investment banking, or a similar field.
• Attorney (IAC).
• Attention to detail and excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written).
• Moderate availability.
