The LGT Capital Partners Private Equity Analyst Program in the Direct Investment team is a unique opportunity for recent graduates to embark on an exciting career with a leading specialist in alternative investments in private markets.
The Analyst program is structured as a 2-year full-time position, with the opportunity for outstanding candidates to continue their career at LGT Capital Partners as an Associate. The position is based in Switzerland (near Zurich).
The expected start date is July 1, 2026, and the program begins with a 2-week onboarding training module.
Tasks
- Carry out extensive financial, market and company-related due diligence;
- Create investment memoranda, including detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis;
- Active participation in investment committee and team meetings;
- Attend management and board meetings and participate in site visits;
- Proactively identify attractive investment opportunities;
- Monitor the performance of portfolio investments.
Requirements
- Excellent academic qualifications from a leading university at Bachelor's or Master's level in business administration, economics, finance or similar;
- Previous internship experience in finance, investment banking, private equity is an advantage;
- Solid understanding of financial statements and fundamental business analysis;
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team, with excellent written and verbal English skills - other languages are an advantage;
- Enjoy working in an entrepreneurial atmosphere, with curiosity and good organizational skills.
