We are looking for an Assistant Vice President to join our private equity team. The position offers the opportunity to manage hedge fund and private equity products for leading asset managers.What you will do
As a Fund Accounting & Administration professional, you will: * Provide daily support to financial operations professionals in the preparation and delivery of accounting and administrative services for alternative investment client relationships. * Be primarily responsible for allocating income to investors, calculating management and incentive fees in accordance with waterfall provisions, and processing capital events such as capital calls and distributions. * Be responsible for portfolio and fund-level accounting for numerous funds, including reviewing and approving monthly or quarterly net asset values. * Lead the onboarding of existing client funds and the launch of new funds. * Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to client satisfaction. * Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as adherence to external regulations and agreements. * Design and modify technological solutions to meet clients’ complex reporting and data requirements. * Proactively identify and participate in opportunities for cross-team collaboration. * Participate in strategic working groups within the organization to improve processes and our operating model.What we are looking for

* Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance * At least 5–6 years of experience in the private markets sector * Experience with alternative investment classes, complex fund structures, and fund calculations is preferred * Strong communication and management skills * Ability to thrive and perform in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment * CPA certification is preferred but not required * Experience with Investnet or Geneva is preferred but not requiredWhat we offer
