Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated professional to join our financial operations team in Private Markets. In this role, you will manage portfolio performance reporting for our semi-liquid private equity fund, focusing on liquidity management, working with external administrators and overseeing semi-liquid reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have solid private equity fund accounting and controlling experience, particularly in the semi-liquid fund space, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for the semi-liquid fund, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate controlling activities and ensure smooth communication and information flows;
- Review and implement best practices and controls for monitoring and validating the semi-liquid fund's financial data, including liquidity analysis, asset valuation and investment performance reporting;
- Lead strategic projects aimed at improving reporting processes, optimizing fund operations or optimizing performance monitoring for semi-liquid investment structures;
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team on complex accounting, financial analysis, cash management and investment structuring issues.
Requirements
- Native speaker or fluent in English; knowledge of German, Italian or French is an advantage;
- At least 5 years of experience in private equity fund accounting, controlling or auditing, with a strong focus on semi-liquid funds and performance monitoring or reporting;
- Experience in working with external administrators and a deep understanding of their role in financial reporting and data provision for semi-liquid funds;
- Strong accounting skills with the ability to review, validate and reconcile data provided by external administrators, particularly in the context of semi-liquid and private equity reporting;
- Proven experience in managing complex financial operations, in particular for semi-liquid private equity funds;
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail in financial reporting and liquidity management;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams and levels of an organization;
- A proactive, responsible and accountable team player with a passion for delivering high quality results in a fast-paced environment.
